New Jersey A2607 exempts certain public school teachers from the state residency requirement for two years.

New Jersey A2607 establishes an exemption from the state residency requirement for certain public school teachers, allowing them two years to establish residency. This exemption does not apply to New Jersey Transit Corporation employees in critical positions or those holding office, employment, or position in the state without a break in public service of more than seven days. The Governor must provide necessary support to a committee overseeing this exemption.
