Establishes the "Substance Use Disorder and Addiction Treatment Best Practices Task Force" to improve New Jersey's addiction treatment system.

The bill establishes the "Substance Use Disorder and Addiction Treatment Best Practices Task Force" to address issues in New Jersey's addiction treatment system. The task force will determine if a new agency or existing body should oversee the system, recommend improvements, develop best practices for treatment centers and sober homes, and suggest regulations for dual ownership. The task force will include representatives from the General Assembly, Senate, Department of Health, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and public members appointed by the Governor.
