Establishes an advisory council to review and revise core curriculum content standards in New Jersey.

The bill creates a Core Curriculum Content Standards Advisory Council to assist the State Board of Education in reviewing and revising core curriculum content standards. The council will consist of 15 members from K-12 education, higher education, business, and parent and student representatives. The council will establish subcommittees for each subject area to review existing standards, collect feedback, and recommend revisions. The Commissioner of Education may submit different standards to the State Board of Education, with a written justification.
