Establishes public awareness campaign about Period of PURPLE Crying and shaken baby syndrome.

The bill mandates the Commissioner of Health to create a public awareness campaign to inform parents and caregivers about the Period of PURPLE Crying, a phase of increased and unsoothable infant crying, and its link to shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma. The campaign will provide information on preventive measures to promote child safety. The Commissioner must make information available electronically on the Departments of Health and Children and Families websites and disseminate it through various entities.
