New Jersey A2554 requires the Commissioner of Education to create a student-athlete eating disorder awareness training program. This program must include information on identifying eating disorders, prevention strategies, and connecting athletes to services. Coaches and athletic trainers in public schools and higher education must complete this training. Coaches must do so initially within six months of the program's establishment and every two years thereafter.
