New Jersey A252 provides a $1,500 tax credit for residents who graduate from a New Jersey high school and a New Jersey institution of higher.

New Jersey A252 offers a nonrefundable gross income tax credit of $1,500 to eligible residents who complete both high school and an undergraduate degree in New Jersey, maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher. To qualify, the individual must secure full-time employment with a New Jersey employer, working over 25 hours per week, within two years of their higher education graduation. This tax credit can be claimed for up to five consecutive tax years, provided the individual continues to meet the employment criteria each year.
