Allows manufacturers to directly sell zero emission light-duty trucks to consumers in New Jersey.

This bill removes certain limitations on manufacturers regarding the direct sale of zero emission light-duty trucks to consumers. It allows a manufacturer to directly buy from or sell to consumers a zero emission light-duty truck at a maximum of four locations in New Jersey. The bill also requires a manufacturer of zero emission light-duty trucks to own or operate at least one retail facility in New Jersey for the servicing of its vehicles. The manufacturer’s direct sale locations are not required to also serve as a retail service facility.
