New Jersey A2402 requires certain school facilities projects undertaken by the Schools Development Authority (SDA) to incorporate a solar energy component, including solar panels. This requirement applies specifically to projects advanced by the SDA on behalf of one of the 31 SDA districts, following the issuance of State bonds under current law, after the bill's effective date. The SDA is also authorized to update the model school design program as necessary to implement these provisions. The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
