New Jersey A2361 authorizes the creation of honorably discharged veteran license plates.

New Jersey A2361 authorizes the creation and issuance of license plates for honorably discharged veterans. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) must issue these plates upon proper application from eligible veterans. The design, including an emblem and color scheme, is to be selected by the chief administrator in consultation with the Adjutant General of the Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs. The plates must display the word “Veteran” and the branch of the military in which the veteran served.
