Exempts E-ZPass customers from certain fees if their vehicle is stolen.

This bill exempts customers with a New Jersey electronic toll collection system account, known as E-ZPass, from certain fees if they report the theft of their vehicle in a timely manner. Specifically, it exempts them from unauthorized charges of $50 or more incurred before reporting the theft and any unauthorized charges incurred after reporting the theft. It also exempts them from fees for a stolen or replacement transponder if they report the theft and provide a police report to the system operator.
