Supplemental appropriation of $1.2 million for Community College Opportunity Grant in New Jersey.

This bill provides an additional $1.2 million for the Community College Opportunity Grant program in New Jersey. This program offers grants to eligible students to cover tuition and approved educational fees not covered by other grants or scholarships. Eligible students must be enrolled in at least six credits, lack a prior college degree, complete a financial aid application, meet academic standards, and have a household income between $0 and $65,000. The bill also allows certain prior grant recipients with higher incomes to receive partial awards.
