The Board of Medical Examiners must ensure obstetric care providers inform patients about endometriosis and its symptoms, and either evaluate them or refer them for evaluation unless they refuse in writing. The Commissioner of Health will develop educational materials on endometriosis in consultation with the Endometriosis Foundation of America.
