Increases penalty for trespass and vandalism on agricultural and horticultural lands.

New Jersey A209 increases the minimum civil penalty for trespass and vandalism on agricultural and horticultural lands from $1,000 to $2,500 if the damages exceed $10,000. This penalty applies to those who knowingly or recklessly damage property on these lands. The bill also allows for additional fines, penalties, or restitution under other laws. The increased penalty is in addition to any other applicable fines or restitution.
