New Jersey A2063 prohibits the sale and distribution of nail products containing dibutyl phthalates, toluene, or formaldehyde.

New Jersey A2063 prohibits the sale and distribution of any nail polish or nail hardener containing, composed of, or made with dibutyl phthalates, toluene, or formaldehyde. Sellers and distributors must issue an immediate recall for affected products. The Director of Consumer Affairs must also issue a recall for any such products. Retail establishments must remove recalled products from display and return them to the seller or distributor within 14 business days. Sellers and distributors must dispose of recalled products in a manner that prevents public access within 60 business days.
