New Jersey A204 allows farmers to register and operate utility task vehicles on public highways.

New Jersey A204 amends existing law to allow farmers to register utility task vehicles with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and operate them on public highways. The bill defines a utility task vehicle as a motorized utility or off-road vehicle with four wheels, seating for the operator and one or more passengers, side-by-side, and a steering wheel for steering control. The registration fee is $5 per annum.
