Revises Fish and Game Council membership by replacing three sportsmen seats with three animal welfare seats.

This bill revises the membership of the Fish and Game Council in the Division of Fish and Wildlife. It maintains the council's size of 11 members but changes the composition. Currently, three members are farmers, six are sportsmen, one is the chair of the Endangered and Nongame Species Advisory Committee, and one is knowledgeable in land-use management and soil conservation. The bill replaces three of the six sportsmen seats with three seats for individuals recommended by animal welfare organizations. These animal welfare representatives must be chosen from specific counties.
