New Jersey A200 allows students receiving equivalent instruction outside their resident school district to participate in extracurricular activities.

New Jersey A200 mandates that school districts permit students receiving equivalent instruction outside their resident district to join school-sponsored extracurricular activities, including clubs, musical ensembles, interscholastic sports, and theatrical productions. To participate, students must prove residency, meet eligibility and tryout criteria, and adhere to activity policies. For interscholastic athletics, students must also demonstrate they did not transfer for athletic advantage.
