New Jersey A1989 requires employers to provide written information about an applicant's eligibility for various leave and benefits, including Family Leave Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, family temporary disability leave, New Jersey Security and Financial Empowerment Act, and Temporary Disability Benefits Law. Employers must also inform applicants of any ineligibility and provide access to a Department of Labor and Workforce Development webpage. Failure to comply results in a civil penalty of up to $500 per violation.
