New Jersey A1985 amends the criteria for medical schools outside the United States to receive authorization to operate clinical clerkship programs in New Jersey. The bill allows medical schools accredited by bodies recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education to apply for authorization. It establishes the Advisory Graduate Medical Education Council of New Jersey within the Department of Health to review applications and set standards. The council must promulgate a Code of Ethics and report annually on its activities.
