New Jersey A1983 establishes assistance and set-aside programs for businesses owned by lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, or LGBT, persons, by persons with a disability, and by veterans. These businesses, termed "eligible businesses," must have their principal place of business in the state, be independently owned and operated, and be certified by the Division of Revenue or an approved third-party agency.
