Introduced Text

New Jersey Nonprofit Security Grant Program increases grant amounts and removes limits on multiple grants.

The New Jersey Nonprofit Security Grant Program provides grants to eligible nonprofit organizations for security personnel and target-hardening equipment. The bill increases the maximum grant amount for security personnel from $10,000 to $25,000 per grant cycle and allows organizations to receive multiple grants for non-contiguous properties, up to a total of $75,000 per year. It also raises the maximum grant for target-hardening equipment from $50,000 to $100,000 per grant cycle and removes the prohibition on receiving both a personnel and equipment grant in the same year.
