New Jersey A1965 prohibits insurers, the State Health Benefits Commission, and the School Employees’ Health Benefits Commission from charging fees for tangible printed or paper bills and notices. This applies to any insurance policy, including automobile, homeowners, and individual life and health insurance policies. The bill also allows insurers to offer discounts, credits, or other incentives for selecting specific billing, payment, or notification options. Penalties may be imposed for repeated offenses.
