New Jersey A1944 — Requires employers to provide training on unlawful discrimination and harassment, and to adopt workplace policies to prevent such.

New Jersey A1944 mandates that employers provide interactive training to all employees and supervisory employees on preventing unlawful discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment. Employers must establish written nondiscrimination policies applicable to all employees and those interacting with the workplace. The Division on Civil Rights is tasked with creating model nondiscrimination policies for employers with fewer than 50 employees and for domestic workers. Employers with 50 or more employees must collect and report data on discrimination and harassment complaints annually.
