This presumption applies regardless of when the worker files their claim, provided it is within two years of the bill's effective date. If a worker has already received benefits from other sources, those benefits will be credited against any award under this act. The Division of Archives and Records Management and other public safety entities must notify active and retired personnel of this presumption.
