Excludes certain unemployment compensation recipients from paying civil service examination application and appeal fees.

The bill amends existing law to exclude certain unemployment compensation recipients from paying fees for civil service open competitive examination applications and appeals. Specifically, it exempts individuals receiving unemployment benefits, those whose benefits terminated within the previous six months, and unemployed persons from paying these fees. The bill also specifies that receipts from these fees will be used for the displaced workers pool program. This change aims to alleviate financial burdens on those recently unemployed or receiving unemployment benefits.
