The Trenton Makes Commission is established to study and analyze approaches other states have used to incentivize and strengthen their manufacturing sectors. The commission will identify cost-effective techniques to attract new manufacturing businesses to New Jersey and support existing ones. It will consult with the scientific and academic community for expertise and input, and report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and Legislature. The commission consists of 13 voting members appointed by the Governor, legislative leaders, and relevant associations and agencies.
