Exempts students with disabilities from college credit requirement in Bridge Year Pilot Program.

This bill modifies the Bridge Year Pilot Program to exempt certain students with disabilities from the requirement to take college credits if it is determined that doing so would not achieve the goals set out in the student's individualized education program (IEP). Instead, these students may participate in school district-sponsored vocational and educational programs and receive appropriate transition services. The bill also extends eligibility for the pilot program to students who will turn 21 years of age during the bridge year due to services provided pursuant to an IEP.
