New Jersey A1754 requires businesses seeking to perform state contracts to disclose any labor and employment law violations from the past two years. This includes violations of federal, state, or local laws, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Act and the National Labor Relations Act. State agencies will assess the severity of these violations, and those showing a significant threat to employee health and safety or a disregard for the law may be disqualified from pursuing the contract. This act takes effect immediately.
