Supplemental appropriation of $175 million for Emergency SNAP Replacement Benefits in New Jersey.

This bill provides a supplemental appropriation of $175 million from the General Fund to the Department of Human Services for Emergency SNAP Replacement Benefits in fiscal year 2026. The funds are intended to issue monthly replacement benefits to eligible Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) households when the federal SNAP benefit amount is less than the household's most recently certified federal SNAP monthly benefit.
