Establishes a Census Complete Count Trust Fund in the Department of State for funding efforts to achieve a full count of New Jersey's population.

New Jersey A1730 establishes a "Census Complete Count Trust Fund" within the Department of State. The fund will receive an annual appropriation of $1 million from the State General Fund. Moneys in the fund will be invested and any interest or income will be credited back to the fund. The Department of State will use these funds to support state, local, and community efforts aimed at achieving a full count of New Jersey's population during each federal decennial census. The Legislature may specify which complete count activities are eligible for funding in the months leading up to the census.
