The bill authorizes home cultivation of medical cannabis for registered qualifying patients in New Jersey. It allows a registered qualifying patient who is 21 years of age or older, or a designated caregiver for the patient, to cultivate and possess up to four mature cannabis plants and up to four immature cannabis plants for the patient’s personal medical use. The home cultivation must be in the residence of the patient or the caregiver.
