New Jersey A1634 prohibits local governments from naming property after foreign terrorist organizations.

New Jersey A1634 prohibits local governments from naming property, such as roads, schools, or parks, after foreign terrorist organizations. The bill requires the Division of Local Government Services to develop and publish a list of designated foreign terrorist organizations. Local governments must remove or rename properties within 90 days of the bill's enactment and dismantle displays of support within 30 days. The state will reimburse local governments for compliance costs and penalize non-compliance by deducting from state aid.
