New Jersey A1625 prohibits institutions of higher education from establishing scholarship funds or student assistance programs that are only available to students who are citizens or permanent residents of countries or territories controlled by a foreign terrorist organization. Institutions violating this provision would be barred from receiving state operating aid, proceeds from state-supported revenue bonds, proceeds from state general obligation bonds, and funds awarded to students through state student assistance or scholarship programs.
