New Jersey A1622 mandates the NJSIAA to create a policy for using instant replay in playoff basketball games.

New Jersey A1622 requires the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) to adopt a policy on the use of instant replay in playoff tournament basketball games. The policy must include an official video and audio recording of each game for reviewing game clock decisions. Each head coach is allowed to make up to two game clock challenges per game. The policy will take effect immediately and apply to the first full school year following the enactment of the bill.
