New Jersey A1620 directs the Department of Environmental Protection to lift conservation restrictions imposed on a property as a condition of a Coastal Area Facility Review Act permit if the property is needed for the physical expansion of an existing school for special needs children. The bill requires that a new, substantively similar conservation restriction be imposed on another parcel of real property at least twice the size of, and located no more than 20 miles from, the original property.
