New Jersey A1501 requires each principal department in the Executive Branch of State Government to prepare a monthly report measuring its performance based on five performance metrics. These metrics are determined by the commissioner or head of each department. The report will include trending analysis and benchmarking data and will be published on the department’s website. Additionally, each department must issue an annual report summarizing the monthly findings to the State Comptroller, the Governor, and the Legislature. This act takes effect immediately.
