Increases the age for obtaining a firearms purchaser identification card from 18 to 21.

This bill amends New Jersey law to increase the age at which a person is eligible to receive a firearms purchaser identification card from 18 to 21. The card is used to purchase shotguns and rifles. The bill allows active duty military or a reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States or the National Guard of New Jersey to obtain a firearms purchaser identification card while under the age of 21.
