New Jersey A1475 requires the Department of Human Services (DHS) to reimburse owners or operators of group homes for developmental disabilities at full rates for 60 days when a resident is transferred to another facility for medical, psychiatric, or rehabilitative treatment. If the resident does not return within 60 days, DHS must reimburse at half the rate for an additional 120 days. If the resident cannot return within six months, the group home may begin the discharge process.
