New Jersey A1436 authorizes the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue special license plates for members of the United States Coast Guard. The plates can be issued to current and former members, as well as their spouses and children. The USCG must contribute non-public funds to cover the initial costs of designing, producing, issuing, and publicizing the plates. The USCG is also required to provide at least 500 completed applications for the plates.
