Establishes authority for electronic monitoring of domestic violence offenders in New Jersey.

The bill establishes the authority of the court to order electronic monitoring of certain convicted domestic violence offenders. The monitoring program, established by the Administrative Office of the Courts in consultation with the Attorney General, uses global positioning system (GPS) technology. The court may order electronic monitoring for defendants deemed to present a serious risk of re-offense based on factors such as the seriousness of the offense and any other relevant factors.
