New Jersey A1321 requires the Department of Health to revise its Pandemic Influenza Plan to cover long-running and large-scale outbreaks. The revised plan must address federal preparedness standards, outline roles and responsibilities of state agencies, coordinate with local health departments, and establish crisis care standards. The plan will also incorporate strategies to address health equity gaps identified during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Department will solicit input from the Governor’s Office, local health departments, and other stakeholders.
