New Jersey A1309 mandates public higher education institutions to publish course syllabi online for undergraduate courses.

New Jersey A1309 requires public institutions of higher education to post the syllabus for each undergraduate course on their website. The syllabus must include a brief description of major course requirements, assignments, and examinations, titles and authors of required or recommended reading, and a general description of the subject matter of each lecture or class. The syllabus must be available no later than seven days before the course registration period for the semester. This act applies to the first full academic year following its enactment.
