New Jersey A1231 prohibits the Department of Transportation from using funds for rock wall construction on Interstate Highway Route 80 between.

New Jersey A1231 mandates that the Department of Transportation (DOT) cannot plan, design, or construct a rock wall for rock fall mitigation between milepost 1.00 and milepost 1.50 on Interstate Highway Route 80. Instead, the DOT must conduct a full analysis of all feasible options for rock fall mitigation that do not include the construction of a rock wall. This act takes effect immediately.
