Establishes a grant program in the Department of Education for school districts to implement animal therapy programs.

The bill establishes a grant program in the New Jersey Department of Education to fund school districts implementing animal therapy programs. The Commissioner of Education will provide guidance on using therapy animals, including training, health evaluations, and insurance. School districts must submit applications detailing their plans for using therapy animals to promote student wellness and ensure health and safety policies are in place.
