New Jersey A1193 requires school districts and municipalities to enter into shared services agreements for verifying student residency. Each school district must annually prepare a report listing the residential address of each student enrolled in the district and submit it to each municipality by November 1. Municipalities must review the report and verify student residency to the extent feasible, submitting a list of unverified addresses to the school district within 30 days. Unverified student addresses are subject to additional review by the school district.
