New Jersey A1164 allows Class 5 Cannabis Retailers to sell non-intoxicating food and beverages, with a 30% revenue cap excluding coffee and water.

New Jersey A1164 permits Class 5 Cannabis Retailers to sell non-intoxicating food and beverage products in their stores. The bill allows these retailers to offer items that do not cause intoxication, whether or not they are manufactured in the state. However, the revenue from these non-intoxicating products cannot exceed 30% of the store’s annual gross revenues, with the exception of coffee and water sales, which are not subject to this cap. The Cannabis Regulatory Commission is authorized to create rules and regulations to implement this act.
