Exempts disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients from municipal parking meter fees when their vehicle displays special license plates or.

This bill allows disabled veterans and Purple Heart recipients to avoid paying municipal parking meter fees when their vehicle displays special license plates or placards issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. The exemption applies when the veteran or recipient is either the driver or a passenger in the vehicle, but it does not apply if the vehicle is parked for more than 24 hours at one location. The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is tasked with creating rules and regulations to implement this exemption.
