Authorizes a highway historical marker to acknowledge abuse at the New Hampshire youth development center.
Pursuant to RSA 236:40-42 and RSA 227-C:4, the historical resources council shall determine the content for a highway historical marker for the New Hampshire youth development center. The marker will acknowledge the abuse suffered by former residents. The council shall consider public reports and news articles concerning the hundreds of surviving victims of sexual and physical abuse. The marker shall be placed after the closure and sale of the YDC property, or no later than June 30, 2028.
