The bill amends various revenue streams to expand eligibility for the child care scholarship program. It includes families with a gross monthly income less than or equal to 95 percent of the state median income for their respective family size. Additionally, it reallocates certain revenue from liquor sales, tobacco taxes, and video lottery terminals to fund the program. The changes will take effect after July 1, 2027, pending certification by the commissioner of the department of revenue administration.
