Text Text

SB605 modifies how special assessments from pooled risk management programs are levied in New Hampshire.

SB605 amends RSA 5-B:5, I by adding new subparagraphs to clarify that special assessments are not required by statute but can be levied if specified in a program's agreement, contractual provisions, or bylaws. It mandates that political subdivisions must pay these assessments over 36 months, with equal amounts due each period. The act will take effect 60 days after its passage.
